The Linguistics Research Center welcomes applications from scholars who wish to be affiliated with the LRC. Scholarly visits may span the entire academic year or can be for shorter periods. Visitors are encouraged to participate in LRC activities while also pursuing their own research. The LRC offers University affiliation, full access to all campus libraries and the LRC library; a shared office; internet access and an email address. Visiting Researchers are invited and strongly encouraged to participate fully in the research and social life of the Linguistics Department — attending classes, seminars and colloquia, as well as participating in reading groups, research groups, workshops, and conferences. Applicants should send a cover letter, curriculum vitae, an outline of the research project to be undertaken while in residence at UCSC, and an indication of the desired term(s) of residence to the LRC director by email at lrc@ucsc.edu.
